Many guests have remarked that our location in the old city could hardly be better, tucked away in a tranquil leafy lane, with very little through traffic, well away from noisy highways. Our apartments are an easy stroll from many shops, cafés, restaurants, local markets, a post office, the Thai Airways downtown office, Chiang Mai City Art and Cultural Centre, The Three Kings Monument and the “Sunday Walking Street”, as well as some of the city’s loveliest temples. The oldest temple – Wat Chiang Mun, dating back to the birth of the city in 1296 – is literally on our doorstep. We overlook its impressive golden pagoda, which is just a few metres away from our front door.
